My Experience Working with Writers Hub

I have worked for other writing services and was miserable. On some of them, I paid a monthly fee, and the jobs had to be bid on. If I wanted to move up the list of bidders, depending on how much I paid, the higher I could go go. Then I could pay extra for banners, stars, and other silly things to make my bid stand out. In the end, it didn’t help me get any of the jobs I really wanted.

Then another one wanted $167 for a six-month fee, and I could bid on as many jobs as I wanted to. They also sent me a daily list of the jobs available at that time. As I started getting into it, I realized they had very few jobs in the niches I was writing in. So, within a month, I contacted them to cancel and was told there would be no refund. They said I could still use the site until my membership ran out. I never went to the site again. However, five months later, they took another $167 from my PayPal account. It took a while, but I eventually got a refund on it. That was another lesson learned.

I love being a freelance writer and working from home. I can work when I want, wear what I want, and eat when I want. But I still wanted to make money. So, I researched, deeply, on other writing service companies and made a list. Then I checked some more and whittled the list down to five. After more consideration, I decided to go with a company that would supply plenty of work without charging a fee.

That’s when I decided on going with WritersHub.org and what a difference it made in my life. As I looked through the sight, I was able to see the work that was available at that time. I liked the look of the website and the information they provided. But what I liked most, it was so easy to sign up, and there’s no monthly fee.

So, I decided to go for it. The registration form is very simple and only took a few minutes. Then I took an English writing skill test and completed a short writing assignment. Before I knew it, I was a member of the team and free to get started.

This part is so easy. When I see an assignment I want to do; it’s mine! I couldn’t believe how simple the process was and how much work was available. I work from home and this fit in perfect with my lifestyle. I know that I can work as much or as little as I want. If I need extra money, I can get more work. And when I go on vacation, I can choose to work a little or not at all. Best of all, my job is waiting when I come home!

I signed up to write case studies, movie reviews, and book reports to start. The case studies are my favorite, and I just finished one on food and beverage and another on the structure of a franchise company. The movie reviews are a lot of fun. I use Netflix, watch the film and write a review. What a tough job this is!

There’s a deadline on every job and sometimes that can be within 6-24 hours. I have to be careful not to accept something that I think might take me longer. So, there are times I can’t take the ones I’d like to. But another one comes always comes around.

The pay is really good, considering the amount of time each assignment takes, and they pay me bi-weekly. I love the fact that I can contact the company at any time to get assistance or ask a question. The support they give is highly commendable. It is so nice not to look for work because that caused me more stress than anything. Here, all I have to do is write.

And because the company is international, I get to work with clients from all over the world. I’ve had clients in Spain, Argentina, Canada, South Africa, Australia, Romania, and Switzerland. Sometimes it’s necessary to communicate with a client in a foreign country, so I may have to stay up late or get up early to correspond with them. It’s all fascinating.

I would highly recommend for any freelance writer to give WritersHub a try. They understand that, as writers, we are constantly improving our skills and they always offer the chance to raise our position. Beginning with the simple registration, the fact that there are no fees, and the jobs that are sitting there waiting means it’s one of the best writing service companies out there in the marketplace. There aren’t many freelancers who have the support that this company offers their writers. For me, they are great allies to help further my career.
